IMAC invests a further £2.3 million in QobliQ. QobliQ, in turn, acquires SponsorClick France and Nouveau Jour

Ingenious Media Active Capital Limited ('IMAC') has today completed a further investment of £2.3 million in QobliQ Limited ('QobliQ'). This follows IMAC's initial investment of £7.5 million in December 2007 and marks IMAC's nineteenth investment in thirteen companies since its IPO in April 2006.
QobliQ, which aims to create the leading international innovative marketing services group combining sponsorship, digital and experiential marketing, completed its first acquisition in December 2007 of brandRapport, the UK's leading independent sports sponsorship consultancy and recent winner of the coveted 'Hollis Sponsorship Agency of the Year Award'.
IMAC's further investment will be used to acquire leading Paris-based experiential marketing agency Nouveau Jour, and SponsorClick France, one of the country's leading independent sponsorship marketing consultancies. The acquisitions will be financed for both a mixture of cash and QobliQ Group equity.
SponsorClick France, which will be re-branded as brandRapport France, will extend brandRapport's geographical footprint into France beyond its current operations in the UK and Hong Kong and broaden its portfolio of global clients. Formed in 2003, SponsorClick France, part-owned by Xavier Quattrocchi-Oubradous (QobliQ's Chief Executive Officer) and Roland Giscard d'Estaing (QobliQ's Chief Strategy Officer) provides high-end consultancy and implementation services in the fast-growing field of sponsorship marketing for blue chip companies including Caisse d'Epargne, Groupe Bel, Cointreau and Nivea. Earlier this month, it announced that 5 times Olympic gold medallist and sports ambassador, Sir Steve Redgrave had joined brandRapport as Chairman of its International Advisory Board to strengthen the company's already impressive Olympic credentials and reputation as one of the leading sponsorship and sports marketing specialists.
Nouveau Jour gives QobliQ a foothold in the experiential marketing sector, one of the fastest growing disciplines of marketing. The company was founded in 2003 by Romain Achard and Edouard Morhange, two pioneers of the fast-growing buzz and experiential marketing industry. Nouveau Jour creates highly innovative and interactive campaigns across both digital and live platforms for blue chip clients such as FootLocker, Calvin Klein fragrances, Celio, Ricard, and Diesel. The company also owns a fast-growing PR company called Red Button.
